What we know about driving out of Skardu.

Deosai is generally open late June to early October. Outside that window the crossings hold snow and no vehicle gets through, whatever anyone tells you on the phone.

Askoli is not a road so much as a riverbed with opinions. It needs a high-clearance 4x4 and a driver who has done it. We will tell you honestly if your dates are wrong for it.
